Note dell’ LP:  Trio in G Major for Three Flutes. This youthful score claims three movements. At the outset Is a curious Allegro with a continuous opposition of quavers, double quavors and triplets: this reminds one of a corresponding piece by Haydn (tho “Lark” Quartet) In which we find a character stlc rhythmic motive. It is more than probable that Beethoven s piece Is earlier than Haydn’s The Andante, very short and almost transitory, is in D. A Rondo Allegretto, nlmply and symmetrically structured, concludes the piece in a light manner but however with great spirit.
